Danube cycle path stage 6 north bank: Krems - Tulln
Start your tour in Krems an der Donau and cycle along the Danube Cycle Path to Tulln. The route takes you through the Wachau cultural landscape and past Altenwörth and Zwentendorf. In Tulln, the city of art and gardens, you reach your destination on the south bank of the Danube. Alternatively, the excursion can also be started in Tulln

Danube cycle path stage 6 south bank: Mautern - Klosterneuburg
The vastness of the Tullnerfeld - cycle along the Danube cycle path from the historic town of Mautern an der Donau to Klosterneuburg. Enjoy the ride through the picturesque Danube valley and pass towns such as Traismauer, Zwentendorf, Tulln and St. Andrä-Wördern on the way to your destination.

Danube cycle path stage 7 north bank: Tulln - Vienna/North Bridge
Tulln is one of the oldest towns in Austria. From here, the Danube Cycle Path leads along the north bank through the Gemeindeau nature reserve, past Korneuburg with its picturesque old town to the Austrian capital of Vienna.

WHERE CAN I GET A CITY MAP?

WHAT IS GARTEN TULLN AND HOW DO I GET THERE?
DIE GARTEN TULLN is the first ecological garden show in Europe and, with its 70 extravagant and ecologically maintained show gardens, is the main attraction for visitors interested in gardening. If you take the Danube cycle path towards Vienna, you will see the eye-catching water lily bridge on the right a few meters after entering Tulln. This bridge and an idyllic path through the alluvial forest take you to the GARTEN TULLN in just 5 minutes.
WHERE ARE THE PUBLIC TOILETS IN TULLN?
The toilets are located on the Donaulände diagonally opposite the Donaubühne stage and on the main square by the exit to the underground parking garage.

HOW DO I GET TO THE CITY CENTER / MAIN SQUARE?
If you take the Danube cycle path in the direction of Vienna, you will see the attractively designed axis to the center on the right-hand side at the boat station. The historic main square is just a few minutes away.
WHAT DOES THE NIBELUNGEN MONUMENT ON THE DONAULÄNDE REPRESENT?
The Nibelung Monument depicts the scene "The Meeting of Kriemhild, Queen of Burgundy, and Etzel, King of the Huns" from the Song of the Nibelungs, which took place in Tulln.

IS THERE A REGULAR CONNECTION TO VIENNA?
There is a train from Tulln main station to Vienna approximately every 30 minutes. With ÖBB Scotty you can easily plan your route (possibly also with bike transport).
