WATER SKIING: GLIDING ACROSS THE DANUBE WITH ELEGANCE
Let's go surfing!
Right on Europe's largest river, Tulln offers ideal conditions for waterskiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing and more. Beginners start carefully on a pole next to the boat before entering the water on a rope, while professionals from the Tulln Water Ski Club give tips on how to glide elegantly across the Danube.
The water ski club has been running a school for guests of all ages since 1985, supported by world, European, state and national champions. Volunteer trainers and boat drivers ensure that everything runs smoothly. The offer ranges from classic water skiing to trick skiing, wakeboarding, wakeskating, wakesurfing, air chair, kneeboarding, foiling and barefoot riding - hardly any fitness requirements are necessary.
You can also enjoy the Danube flair as a passenger in a boat. Three motorboats, skis, boards, wetsuits and life jackets for all sizes are available. A hot water shower in the clubhouse provides comfort in cooler water. Please bring swimwear, a towel and a good mood.
Costs
Payment is based on minutes ridden; the first lap for beginners is around € 28; the price depends on the duration of the lap, depending on ability.

Opening hours and appointments
From the beginning of July to the end of August (summer vacation), the water ski club is open daily from 3 p.m. at the Donaulände, weather permitting.
To ensure that a boat driver is available, please make an appointment by telephone. The season generally starts at Easter and runs until the end of September. The spacious area with a view of the Danube offers a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere directly on the Donaulände. The enjoyment of picturesque sunsets is particularly recommended.
