Frequently asked questions from our guest groups:
Where can buses stop or park?
For boarding and alighting, we recommend the specially marked bus stops at the parking lot near the city center on Nibelungenplatz. The Tulln Tourist Information Office is right next to it, and the main square is only about 100 meters away. Buses can then park in the Hafenstraße area. Nearby, you’ll find a gas station, the “Fast & Fresh” snack bar at the DonauSplash sports and family pool (Karl-Metz-Gasse 1), a supermarket, and the mini-golf course with snacks and drinks.
Additional bus parking spaces are available in front of the trade fair entrance; however, these cannot be used during trade fair hours and have limited nearby amenities. Please note that vehicles with a maximum allowable gross weight exceeding 16 metric tons are prohibited from crossing the old Danube Bridge.
Where can I get a city map?
You can pick up the handy fold-out city map with plenty of tips for your visit to Tulln, as well as many other brochures, at the Tulln Tourist Information Office (Minoritenplatz 2) or download them online from the download section.
Which restaurants can accommodate larger groups?
The restaurant “Die Gaumenweide,” located at the entrance to GARTEN TULLN, is particularly well-suited for a group meal. A list of restaurants is available at the Tulln Tourist Information Office (Minoritenplatz 2) or online in the download section.
Where are the public restrooms in Tulln?
The restrooms are located on Donaulände, diagonally across from the Donaubühne, and at the parking garages on Hauptplatz, as well as on Albrechtsgasse and Frauentorgasse. Additionally, there is a public restroom facility on Nibelungenplatz near Hans Wurst. More information about public restroom facilities.
What city tours are offered?
In addition to classic city tours, our certified Austria Guides also offer special tours focusing on Tulln’s key themes: “Egon Schiele” and “Roman Tulln.” For groups with limited mobility, city tours can also be conveniently booked via the “Tulli Express” sightseeing train. In addition, Tulln’s extraordinary green spaces and the elaborately landscaped roundabouts can be explored on the Tulli Express under the expert guidance of Tulln’s city gardener.
