In Tulln, the river and floodplain landscape is showcased through sensitive architectural design - for example with the Danube stage on the Tulln Donaulände. It is the largest river stage on the Danube and lends every concert and event a very special flair on balmy summer evenings. There is hardly a better start to a long night on the "Danube beach" than a rousing open-air concert on the spectacular Danube stage.
Events in a class of their own
From June to August, stars of the music, cabaret and comedy scene come together. Many of these events are free to attend and invite spontaneous visitors to linger while strolling along the Donaulände.

Fireworks as the annual closing highlight
The grand finale of every Danube Stage season is a broad (free) program as part of the International Horticultural Fair at the end of August / beginning of September. The Donaubühne celebrates its season, the garden city of Tulln and life on the Danube every year with a food mile, live bands and a giant firework display over the Danube.

How to make your visit to the Donaubühne a highlight: The riverside stage is located directly on the Donaulände - Tulln's most beautiful public garden. The attractively designed seating areas and picnic meadows invite you to enjoy and linger in nature and directly on the Danube.

Those interested in culture won't miss out either: the Egon Schiele Museum, which provides special insights into the life of the exceptional artist, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Donaubühne. Just a few minutes' walk away is the Tulln City Museum, where the Roman Museum and the Virtulleum take you on a journey through time through all eras.

You should plan a little time for culinary delights and shopping. The quickest way to get from the Donaubühne to the historic city center is via Rudolfstraße, just a 5-minute walk away. It is also worth visiting the "Nature in the Garden" adventure world DIE GARTEN TULLN, which welcomes visitors from April to October with 70 ecologically designed show gardens. The best way to get to DIE GARTEN TULLN from the city is on a round trip on the"Tulli-Express" slow train, which makes its rounds through Tulln at weekends in the summer months.
