Adventure tour through the garden city
A special offer for active, inquisitive and adventurous kids! Discover one of Lower Austria's family bike tours in the garden city of Tulln - ideal for an outdoor excursion with the kids. The tour is around 13 km long and runs along the Donaulände - Tulln's most beautiful public garden.
Adventure in the garden
Along the way, you will pass the GARTEN TULLN - with a treetop path and the largest nature playground in Lower Austria. Boating in the water park is an adventure, where you can explore 5 km of waterways in a canoe or pedal boat. The route continues along the Donaulände, past the Hundertwasser ship"Regentag", the cozy picnic meadows and the Danube stage.
Fun, fun, fun
The fun stations in the leisure area around the DonauSplash sports and family pool provide plenty of action. Marvel at the talent of the sporty acrobats at the skater park with mini-ramps and halfpipe and improve your own skills on the BMX track. Fun and games are also guaranteed with mini golf and trampolining.
Discover nature experiences
If you cycle to the neighboring village of Langenlebarn, you can discover the"Donau.Spuren.Langenlebarn". The 12 nature experience stations invite you to guess, play and join in. On the way back to Tulln, the Tulln Aubad offers cooling off in the natural waters, relaxation in the spacious sunbathing area or further sporting activities on the numerous playgrounds and sports fields.
On the trail of history
Young wheel explorers can follow in the footsteps ofRomans and Nibelungs, who have walked the same paths. Immerse yourself in the world of little Egon Schiele and explore his birthplace at Tulln Central Station with the interactive tour specially designed for children with a Schiele comic booklet.
Don't forget to stop for refreshments
At the end of the cycle adventure tour or in between, it is worth making a detour to Tulln's historic main square - to eat and drink in one of the numerous restaurants, for an ice cream or to have fun with the water games at the fountain. There are several places to stop for refreshments during the tour.
