Frequently asked questions from our guest groups:
Where can buses stop and park?
To get on and off the bus, we recommend the specially marked bus stops at the parking lot near the city center at Nibelungenplatz. The Tulln tourist information office is right next door and the main square is only about 100 m away. Buses can then park in the Hafenstraße area. Nearby there is a petrol station, the "Fast & Fresh" snack bar at the DonauSplash sports and family pool (Karl-Metz-Gasse 1), a supermarket and the mini golf course with snacks and drinks.
There are additional bus parking spaces in front of the trade fair entrance, but these cannot be used during the trade fair and only have a limited infrastructure nearby. Please note that there is a driving ban on the old Danube bridge for vehicles over 16 tons maximum permissible gross weight.
Where can I get a city map?
The practical city map with lots of tips for your visit to Tulln and many other brochures are available from the Tulln Tourist Information Office (Minoritenplatz 2) or online in the download area.
Which restaurants have capacity for larger groups?
The restaurant "Die Gaumenweide" at the entrance to the GARTEN TULLN is particularly suitable for a joint restaurant visit in a larger group. You can obtain a list of restaurants from the Tulln Tourist Information Office (Minoritenplatz 2) or online in the download area.
Where are the public toilets in Tulln?
The toilets are located on the Donaulände diagonally opposite the Donaubühne and at the parking garages on Hauptplatz, in Albrechtsgasse and Frauentorgasse. More information on the public WC facilities.
Which city tours are offered?
Our certified Austria Guides offer classic city tours as well as special tours on Tulln's core themes "Egon Schiele" and "Roman Tulln". For groups with limited mobility, the city tours can also be conveniently booked on the "Tulli Express" slow train.
